3 class periods
Students will edit their films in their groups. They should adhere to the screenplay and the rubric when selecting their final shots. They should also add in music and sound effects to add to the final project.
Computers, Cameras, iMovie & GarageBand
3 class periods
Students will present and critique each other's films using the AFI Visual Arts Feedback protocol.
Ongoing Assessment(s): The final product will be assessed, but throughout the project, group will assess their members for participation and the instructor will meet with groups throughout the process, both as needed and scheduled in advance.
Accommodations and Extensions: Students with individual needs will be addressed as needed, but upon review of IEP's and 504 plans all students should be able to access learning through this project. Individual support will be provided by group members and myself. All students have the opportunity to stretch beyond the requirements of this project using creativity and technical aptitude.
Back-up Plan: None - any scheduling accommodation will be addressed by a change in date or adjustment to the project timeline.
EVALUATION
Lesson Reflection and Notes: N/A - lesson has not been taught and reflection will be prepared upon completion. Following this lesson, if films require more time, the following few days will be given to allow for more time to rework the project.
